With the support of the Association for Continuing Education (ACE,) San Francisco International High School (SFIHS) offers the Spark program for students who have completed all of their graduation requirements but have not yet passed the California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE.) Spark is a hybrid high school-college program where students receive specialized instruction on academic language development on campus at SFIHS while beginning college coursework at City College of San Francisco. The perseverance that Spark students demonstrate is phenomenal. This year, Marcos and Ronaldo have worked tirelessly to improve their skills while working up toward passing CAHSEE. They have not passed yet, but their energy and enthusiasm has served them greatly as they work through this challenging year.
This is Marcos and Ronaldo, SFIHS Spark Students
We are studying at City College of San Francisco now and almost finish with our class for the semester. We have done good in class and making a B grade for finals.
We really love coming to SFIHS and meet with Ms. Cristina who help us with our homework and get ready to pass the CAHSEE. We know we pass soon and we are ready for City College now.
We also want to say thank you for SFIHS because the computers we use make us do so better in class. See an example below. Click on the link.
